I recently acquired a large jack dempsey from someone and they gave me a few frozen packages of imitation crab meat that they had been using for food along with the fish. The ingredient list doesn't seem all too terrible and I know its primarily made from flounder, but I was wondering what some opinions out there are on using it for fish food.

Ingredients:
Fish protein (whiting/flounder), water, wheat starch, egg whites, sugar, corn starch, sorbitol, snow crab, salt, sodium phosphates, paprika, carmine, titatnium dioxide

No
Since it has added ingredients
I would just stick with , silver sides, smelt, tilapia, real crab and shrimp.
Even though it can be somewhat pricey
A Cheap option is bugs
Such as crickets, worms, etc

Yeah I was concerned about the extra ingredients. I use shrimp, tilapia, silversides, flounder, night crawlers, and a host of other foods. Its only that I know he had been using it for food without any issues and he gave me about 5 lbs of it. I appreciate the feedback though guys. No fake crab meat will be going to the fishies.
