Feeding injury or something else

So I noticed a white spot on the chin of one of my piranhas. I’m not sure if he got bit while they’re were feeding or if it could be something else. There are no signs of anything else on him or any of the other fish. Other than this one white spot, they all look normal

Yes very possible for the piranha to get nipped accidentally at feeding time. Also will get bump on the jaw from glass banging.

Kind if looks like they got in a fight. It’s possible they did a lip lock, sometimes piranhas do that.
Should heal in a few days to weeks.

The photos are a bit blurry, I know first hand they’re not easy to capture lol. piranha are very resilient, it shouldn’t take long for him to heal up. You could add a some salt for good measure if you’d like otherwise just keep an eye in it to see if it gets worse. I wouldn’t be worried about it.

Yeah they’re definitely tricky to photograph that’s for sure....lol
