Don't feed chicken liver or hotdogs, it's really bad for them, try massivore, any freshwater fish pieces, prawns, mussels, if it's small try blood worm.

How big is it?
How long have you had it?
And what set up is it in? (Tank size? Other fish? Filtration?)

he is 6in, about 4 months old. ive had him for 3 months. his tank is a 125 with a fluidized bed filter, power head and hang on filter. He is by himself in the tank. im starting a plywood tank build after xmas. i know how big he gets.

Wasn't trying to flame you on tank size, that's been done to death and most people know how big they get by now.

Have you checked the water perimeters? It might be like the other poster said and he's just being a bit fussy, if he was eating normally until you changed his diet then I would just give him a couple of days but I really wouldn't feed him junk like hotdogs, it's really bad for them IMO. Good luck, keep us posted

Also on a side note, have a good look at the tank build threads on here and don't cut corners. I attempted to build a 300g for fun so didn't take it to seriously but it was a disaster lol looked awesome but leaked like a sieve haha

RTC usually eat everything you throw in the tank. Maybe there is something wrong with your water or it is stressed out.

odds are it's just used to food that squirms. don't feed it for a week and try some of the healthy suggestions offered above.
