We have a discussion going on today at work about feeding Tiger Shovelnose Catfish. One of the question is when the catfish get large, can you feed kitten to TSN? Has anyone done that? Whats your opinion?

Oh god, this is more awful than i can put into words. Cant wait till more people see this thread.

Despite the obvious trolling, I find it amusing that people find it so horrible to feed a feline to a fish, but if the OP had said "Feed a rat to a TSN" you'd get a debate about health benefits

Actually I hate any small animal being fed to fish. I only find feeders, worms and crickets suitable to feed. I hate the idea of a mouse or cat slowly awkwardly drowning while being bit. I mean mice can swim for 6 straight days, so when they are fed you know their death must be terrible. Same goes for anoles, etc that some people feed.

Well, I didn't say you should feed live kittens....frozen ones should work....;)

Also, for the OP, fur makes a mess...you should feed only hairless cats...

PS this is a joke, don't feed kittens...puppies are easier...

hey cant let the fish go hungry.

well even if you would seriously consider this, how would this effect the fish? Can the digestive system handle that amount of hair, bone, claws, etc...? The fish may not be able to process some of the cat, it could possibly kill the fish if it causes a blockage.
