for you guys that keep large mouth bass, have you got them to eat pellets? i have a lmb that is about 3 inches i havent had it but about 2 weeks but it only will eat live foods, worms, baby frogs, baby lizards, about 1/4inch baby bream, it dosnt seem to be interested in pellets for flake at all right now. i know eventually it will start to ecept pellets but how long has it taken for you guys to get yours to eat them?

The LMB is pretty much like most all captured natives that have only been used to taking live foods, Ive never tried to keep one, because of the huge tank it will take to keep them comfortably to maturity, but ive found that most native will eventually acclimate to pellets if you starve them for a few days, this wont hurt the fish, but if you continue to give them what they want they will never take pellets, When you can get steak, why eat bologna
