Hey just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on feeding juvenille (3") F1 Umbees Live black worms. I have been feeding them some live black worms here and there along with flakes and nls the past few days. I usually just feed them nls pelletes and flakes but tried out some live black worms because ive been feeding my discus that the last few days. They love the live black worms so just making sure its ok to feed them those. Im going to strictly keep them on a flake and pellet diet but been thinking of doing live black worms as a snack for them here and there. Let me know thanks!

As long as you trust the source of the black worms.

^^^ yup keep an eye out for parasites. I have fed black worms too but you'll have to maintain them-rinsing daily and such to ensure healthy batch. Everyone has their own opinion on feeding what to who. As long as you have a staple pellet food you can easily add a treat to their diet:) at 3" you could prolly do away with flakes tho as it seems to be more if a mess for larger fish and pellets are more important at larger sizes. Good luck and enjoy your umbees:)
