feeding loaches

How do you guys that are feeding your loaches zucchin and cucumber keep the food down to the bottom. When I add cucumber it floats. Plus my loaches seem to hide all the time, I assume they come out when the light come on.

There are several methods to weigh down veggies - here's a few:

Stick a spoon in the cucumber slice upside down
Stick a plant weight or 2 thru the veggie

If you par boil the zucchini for a couple of minutes it will sink on its own.

Thanks, I'll have to look in to this, but not sure how the magnet would effect scarching acrylic. Moving it up and down the tank.

I don't THINK the magnet would scratch acrylic, but I don't know for sure. They are really "soft" on both sides - not a scratchie material.

The thing that I like about them the most: I can feed veggies without getting my hands wet and remove them just as easily when the fish are done.

you can simply rubber band it to a stone !
