What kind of shrimp or fish should I get to feed my fish from the the store/market?

cod, salmon filets, cocktail shrimp, catfish filets, raw or cooked (I am guessing raw).

I am tired of buying 4oz packs of krill and beefheart (only last abt 2-3 days) to feed my pbass and Tsn, and others.:)

Ive been buying Tilapia fillet at BJs to feed my CK, Aro, an TSN. got 3 LBs acouple months ago an still have enough for another month or so. if you buy alot of raw food like I did, Prep as much as you can an use lil Snack size Ziplock bags. Then its just a quick defrost (I just hang the bang in the tank for a bit an then feed).

Cool bros I will look into those....:)

What about the not frozen catfish filets etc?

I ALWAYS used market frozen fish, shrimp, prawn, etc with no problem. If it's good for YOU to eat and FREE of chemicals (fresh and frozen, no conservants) it's probably good for your fishes. ;)

Best regards.

Daniel.

All those will work except maybe the salmon, I have heard it is a bit fatty. I would go with any white fleshed raw fish except buffulo or carp, they have the same thiamine problems as goldfish if you use them as a staple. As supplemental feedings it should be no problem.
