Is it necessary to deshell the shrimp? I've heard that most nutrients are stored in the shell..

Nope...if anything, just remove the stinger.

Not necessary, but many fish will spit out the shell, so you'll just have to experiment. You should take off the tail though because it could hurt your fish.

you dont have to remove the head , but it makes less of a mess. My grouper wont eat shrimp with the shell , for some reason he throws them up. He will eat 19 shrimp or so and if i dont peel them 20 minutes later he will throw them all up on the bottom of the tank.

See what your fish like , but yes just remove the tail and head , less mess in the tank
