When you feed your clowns meaty foods like shrimp, mussels, clams, etc. do you dice them up in tiny pieces or cut a small piece they can pick at?

I now some people use a blender to mix varies meats, lay it flat in the freezer, and break off chunks to feed...but doesn't that get messy in the tank?

Also, any particular mussels/clam i should be looking for? I usually shop at the Asian markets.

I use gelatin to make the food stay together in the tank. I do cut small pieces of earthworm and throw that into the tank, dunno if they eat them or not. I would imagine since (the species I have anyway) they eat snails, they would like worms too.

Depends on the size of your clowns really.
I just use my fingers to pull shrimp and muscles into small chunks and they eat it. My Biggest clown is only about 5"

They're not too picky about size, i cut up shrimp so everyone can get at least a little, they tend to carry the piece they grab into a safe corner or cave - at least they do here.

Yeah, i tried dicing up some shrimp/mussel meat and they go for it no problem.

Thanks again everyone for the input.
