Feeding mosquitos?

Is it Ok to feed wild mosquito larvae to your fish? I have a few buckets that catch rain water and they're filled with mosquito larvae. I just wanted to know if there are any parasites or diseases they could pass to the fish.

As long as there's nothing funky in your rainbuckets, the mosquitos are perfectly healthy foods. Fish love them too!

Several of my tanks have been eating mosquitos exclusively for some time now.

Nothing wrong with mosquito larva being fed to fish as long as you are sure they are totally free of possible contaminants that could harm your fish.
