Feeding my Bichir

Hi,
Dont really know where this should go but anyways, I'm trying to get my bichir to eat some meaty foods, like fish, but all its eating are pellets that i give to my buttekefori, even when there are some rummy nose tetras and goldfish swimming right in front of its face (kind of expensive using the rummy noses, but tetras arent for me, lol). Is there anything wrong with my bichir, can i get it to eat live foods again?

lol don't feed them anything for a few days. they will eat up everything edible.

I put 2 dozen ghost shrimp in my tank with my 5" bichir over my extended winter break - the college I work for closes for 2 weeks. There were 2 shrimp still in there last week, and I've had a platy fry from birth to about dime size. But, he's eaten a few medium sized guppies.

If you want him to eat some meaty stuff, try small worms like red wigglers mail order, (see your local baitshop or start growin your own)
