feeding my bullhead

Well, we already beat the feeder fish issue to death on another post. So I am not feeding my fish goldfish or minnows anymore.

Here is the problem...
She will not eat ant kind of dry food. She sucks it up and spits it out. If I was to change my mind and put feeder fish in there she immediately kills them but does not eat them.

So a this point I am feeding her just earthworms. Live ones. She seems to be doing fine so far. She is perky and more than happy to eat them but I am concerned that in the long run this may not be very good for her.

What are your thoughts on this?
 
I got mine on sinking carnivore pellets, but he also eats shrimp and small pieces of fish fillets. Also, are the pellets too big? Mine won't eat large pellets he spits them out, they have to be smaller.
 
when i kept bullheads they ate anything and everything i put in the tank, but you can try cut up mealworms, worms, fish fillets, and pellets. if they are hungry they will always eat
 
They are the same small shrimp pellets that she grew up on, but a different brand. They do not make the old kind. And of course I ordered a huge container of a different brand but she does not like them.....sigh.
 
She ignores them until they are soft. She sniffs them, sucks them in then spits them out and they end up making an ookie mess on the gravel...
 
i would feed mine shrimp pellets, feeders, worms, crickets, bugs, and i would hand feed it ham :P
