i was just wondering if this seems to be a common problem.
i have four new marble motoros that are around 8" and up all are eating but not well. i know all are eating black worms and they are not readily available + they are expensive to feed large rays. night crawlers most are eating i am not sure all because i have three in the same pond. smelt and shrimp is next to nothing they really aren't interested. i thought this would be easy to get them to eat a variety of foods but it has not. my reg motoros have been a piece of cake as long as they have been healthy from the start . i know they have not shipped well i think do to the heat bags have been coming in flat and high ammonia levels in bag . only one came in looking rough and is doing ok now. there are two that look like they are loosing a little weight. live sources of food seem to be what they want i just don't have great access to them and i am spending over $35 a week for live food . any secrets to getting them hungry enough to ween them on other foods?
thanks
john
