I introduced a pair of SD's a few weeks ago but they did not come up to feed with the other fish, instead taking any food that drifted by in the current and feeding of the Java moss that growing on an ornament.
I fed them last night as normal and the new SD's came up to feed. They must not be completely settled in and I intend to feed them well to grow them up as quick as possible.
My LFS has suggested that I try feeding pieces of apple to them. I was just wondering if anyone could suggest the best to use and which ones to avoid, also any other fruit that I could use to bulk them up.
