Horsefaced loaches do not need flake, but they will eat it. They will do quite well with daphnia and brine shrimp, but may require some vegetable content too.

There might be a problem with minerals and vitamins on the long term. Since your brine shrimp and daphnia are frozen you don't know what they ate before being frozen. Without proper diet they lack certain vitamins and minerals.
