I have two 9 or 10in oscars that have always had tankmates that eat alot rtc/artc/bullhead/cc but now they have their own tank and i was woundering how much oscar owners feed their fish

i feed mine alot . he eats either live minnows or shrimp every other day and pellets on the others . but he also grew almost 1.5" last month , now hes roughly 6" .
Feed mine twice a day (with Hikari large cichlid pellets) with an occasional period where I skip a few feedings so it may drop to once a day. There are days where live food is added as a treat besides the double feedings (during the winter it is just crickets and during the summer he gets nightcrawlers and crickets).
Regular feeding is about 5-8 Hikari large cichlid pellets (this is usually enough for him to eat all except for the last couple pellets - these are mouthed and only half eaten. Then I know feeding time is over.)
The uneaten food is then handled by the other inhabitants - a firemouth, 2 giant danios and 2 catfish.
