I have a new otocinclus that doesn't seem to be eating provided foods. My tank is not super full of algae, so I'm pretty sure he needs additional foods to eat. I've tried Omega One Veggie Rounds, blanched veggies like spinach and zucchini, noro sheets. I leave the item in the tank overnight and they always look untouched in the morning. Any ideas what to do?

Maybe just hasn’t settled in. Always do better in groups and in a planted system. I’d say add a few more if able. Add plants if ur tank doesn’t have any.

My otos have acted like this when they were solo as a few died off. After replacing the otos it went back to eating again.

Take some decor out of the tank (large rock) and old tank water. Put into a container and make sure direct sunlight hits the decor. You should see green algae growth on the decor in a few days. Put the decor back into the tank so that the green algae will help supplement its diet.
