So today while i was feeding my snake i was wondering if you could feed pinky mice to your fish. So i tossed one in and my peacock bass ate one and then my ornate did as well. Just wondering.

THANKS!!!!!!

Mammalian protein is harder to digest for the fish. You can feed on an occasional basis but why use them if you have other options much better than this?

it was just out of curiosity not a stable diet or even once a month there for my snake

i found a mouse nest in my outdoor cupboard, chucked all six in with the lung, came back 10 minutes later and he was back in his hide, no sign of the mice!

Not a good idea. Aside from being unnecessarily cruel, it probably messes up your water something fierce and it's really hard to digest.

That's not something to be proud of. It's incredibly inhumane. Not to mention, if you found them wild, you run a huge risk of introducing parasites and pesticides.

Everyone reading this, this^ is exactly how NOT to keep fish and to treat living things.
