Feeding piranhas anchovies?

Is it good for my piranhas to eat anchovies? I bought a bag of frozen anchovies for 2 bucks at my local grocery store and figured they might like it. So, I thawed one and threw it in the tank and they ate it. But anchovies are salt water fishes, would that be ok for them to eat?

i dont see anything wrong with it. shrimp live in saltwater. but i wouldnt feed them just anchovies id mix it up every day with catfish prawns whatever....

Definately is a good supliment to a diet,keep mixing it up with shrimps and fish too.

the only thing I would say about that is that if they're the salty kind of anchovies, its probably too much sodium for your P's.
