Feeding Platy for Arowana

Hey everyone,
As you know feeding live fish could be a problems there could be parasites in them.I found a guy next to my house who breeds platy and said he would give 100 numbers for 2$,But one the local shop owners over here said platy are good color enhancers but do not provide adequate nutrition for arowana's and are not ideal feed.IS it true?Can i feed my RTG platy?

platy,Molly,fancy guppies,Etc, and he's colors turn beautiful, nice and purple kinda blue ish.

Any kind of live food will not provide adequate nutrition unless (maybe) you put in the effort of gut-loading it. Platys are no different, really. You're best off training it to eat pellets and frozen and giving live sparingly or never, as a treat if you really want.

you can feed those platys but you should train your arrow to eat pellets and frozen foods
