Feeding Query

Also im just asking out of curiosity here, im feeding my boa once every 5 days with a fuzzy mouse, is it enough? i did used to feed her once every 7 days but she would somtimes seem a little hungry so i moved her to once every 5 days but ive read that they can become obese from being overfed, so was just wondering if im doing it alright.

Shes maybe 26-28" in length. Just curious i wanna make sure im caring for her correctly and i dont want her to get obese and i dont wanna waste any mice either.
 
hey hun, when mine were that small i was feeding every 5-7 days.
i believe boas r prone to be obese but once u move up to rats cut it once a week.
have u tried her on a rat yet? more nutrition and could last her a bit longer.

Oh right thats great info thanx, im gonna move her upto rats soon but ive got 10 fuzzys left so im gonna use those up first, i may feed her tonight or tommorrow. You'll have to look at some of my pix of her, id love your opinion of her.
 
I think that fuzzies are going to be too small for her. try rat pinks. they are going to be bigger and better for her.

u got pics on ur profile of her? she looks like a lil stunner, kinda looks girly lol
mine looks all sweet and innocent yet my boys kinda have this tough nut look about them lol its pathetic.
 
just had a look, she is boooootiful. i love how shes a little bit redder as a base colour. iv got one that almost postbox red but his sister is a really pale grey lol

I think that they are actually regular adult mice as the place i orginally got her from called them regular adult mice but the other shop called them fuzzy mice they are fairly big im not sure if she could take bigger yet but i will get her onto rats too.

from the pics on ur profile id say they were adult, i got mine on to rats as soon as i got them home.
def try a rat fluff, or whatever is a similar size to the mice. they can go up to one and a half times their widest point, so u should be safe :)
