so im not too sure how much to feed my fish. im sure there are some simple guidelines for this. and also how many times a day is most common.

its a group of several mid-sized cichlids with the largest being a 3" oscar.

thanks for any help

Once a day for five minutes should be sufficient enough. Adults do not need to be fed a lot.

Curious myself about this lately

I thought it was better to feed smaller juvenile fish several times a day for 2-3 minutes?

I do once every day for one week, then the next week its once every other day.

I try to feed each fish solo since I don't have schooling fish and the amount is about the length + width of the mouth to the gill opening.

My fish would gorge themselves in 5 minutes.
