Ok, now that we seem to have decided that we are too lazy to eat feeders (which couldn't be safer, despite being in the same tank), I'm wondering what the feeding standard is. Betta: 2-3 pellets the size of their eye, Guppies: whatever is consumed in 5 minutes, Cories: whatever the guppies miss... My shoal got fed a couple capfuls of pellets, or 3 shrimp, etc etc, and whatever was left, I had the plecos to clean up. The cichlid gold pellets are the size of her eye, and I do have crays to clean up, but they suck at their job... How much is too much? I've thrown probably 10 pellets in, and she's still prowling, but she's also getting round in the belly. lol I don't want to overfeed. Thanks.

Can't overfeed a pygo. But you can feed too much in that they'll leave food. They'll stop when they're stuffed. Key it stopping right before they do so there's no cleanup

So pretty much I can keep feeding as long as she keeps hunting?

I've fed to where it looks like they'd explode with another bite without problems. They'll stop when full. They're gluttons
