OK, I just got in 2 bahias pbass and 1 mono pbass Sunday evening.
All of them are around 7-8".

Was told they were eating sticks. I didn't get to see them eat do to I had them shipped in.
Person I got them from owns a shop in MN and Im in MO.

Well I figured they might not eat yesterday. Tried but no luck... But was expected since they just got shipped in.
Today, they seem interested in food. But not the sticks.
I have floating cichlid sticks I tried and not even one hit.

I also have Rays and a 9" Datnoid in the tank, so I also feed the tank Tilapia.
One of the pbass went after a piece and tried to chew it but spit it out not long later.

Any ideas? I am not to worried rt now. Its only been 24 hrs since they were in the tank. Just want to get feedback from you guys.

thanks

Give them a little longer and use Hikari food sticks. You could also try Massivore, if they ate pellets they won't spit it, it's like crack to Pbass.

Ya I figured it might take more time. I do have some sample packs of Massivore Delites. Ill try them out in the morning. I threw a few in just now and they didn't even give them a second look but no worries. Ive been keeping fish for awhile. I know it takes time for them to settle in.
Just never kept pbass. So wanted to ask the guys that do.

thanks

I totally agree with bass guy, when my peacock bass where smaller I fed them cichlid pellet and bloodworms, and now they are about 8" and about a month ago I decided to buy a bag of hikari sticks and threw them in, it was a feeding frenzy and ever since then that's all they eat!
