can you feed baby salamanders to cichlid or are thay poisons there tiny i thought thay were tadpoles when i cought them but thay have big mouths and big fluffy gills like a mud puppy thay are kind of cute it might be fun to raise them if i can't feed them to my fish

umm i wouldnt the slime might have some kind of toxin

Typically all amphibians have toxins in their skin or slime coat. Degree of toxicity ranges; it all depends on the species. I wouldn't chance feeding them to fish, unless you are certain of the toxicity level. Keep them in another tank. Probably be cool pets. Just my opinion.

yahh i know tiger salamanders are toxic but i wasn't sure if the babys are but tadpoles are ok right

well i guese i'll have to test it i have a huge goldfish that likes to eat smaller goldfish and if i feed it one and it lives are thay ok to feed to cichlids
