Feeding raw meet

As long as it was from a healthy animal it should be fine. Best to go for raw fish and invertebrates rather than mammal meat. If you do feel compelled to feed sticky meat like beef or chicken, give him a small enough piece than it can pop out of his butt without getting stuck and killing him.

Only seafood no red meat or poultry

I wouldn't say never on the red meat and poultry. But you might as well be feeding the Oscar a pebble for what they're worth nutritionally to him. It's pointless and could foul up your water so you might as well not do it.

I do give my O the occasional tiny, tiny bit of chicken meat and it hasn't done any harm. But it's only once every couple of weeks. I only do it because of how he reacts. Loves the stuff.

No I agree, I would not feed raw meat. They can't digest it properly.

O's eat everything. Shrimp, fish fillets, mussels, squid, crickets, meal worms, nightcrawlers... I wouldn't offer mine red meat or poultry but don't think it'll kill em to have it as a treat every once in a while. Especially if they like it.

I've fed (raw) market shrimp to large cichlids...

I'd stay away from terrestrial meat. Hard for the fish to digest, messy for the tank and un-necessary given all sorts of other inexpensive and better available foods.

8 inch red tiger Oscar can she eat raw meat or not as i do not know?

Any Chinatown market, try to visit and make friends with them.....Popcorn shrimp, Size 28-34 shrimp, fillet of Tilapia......Just a few examples of the healthy stuff you can feed to your Oscars...Try staying away from red fish meat, and stick to the white fish meat.......Grab a bag of fozen krill at you local fish store...Krill also adds color to your O's...........Way back in the day once a week, I used to feed raw hamburger beef chuck to a tank of O's....It is really messy, and now I beleive is a little unhealthy......
