Feeding rays MP with shell on?

Hi,

anybody tried feeding Mp with the shell on? Currently i feed them chopped Mp , removing the shell, but just wondering if they can eat chopped mp with the shell on?

I assume mp is market prawns. I throw the whole thing in there for the large rays. Small ones I cut it up and ditch the tail, the rest I leave on.

they can handle the shrinp whole no prob

thanks was wondering since in the wild their diet would consist of shrimp
and i usually feed my arowanas with shell on, but since i had my motoros, i feed mp without the shell, but my arowana likes the mp with shell.

i rember one of the "experts" saying that shell on is more benifical and provides with more vitamins and nutriants

Not to derail: The pellets that I feed include ground crayfish shell as an additional nutrient. I stopped feeding shell-on shrimp simply due to clean up issues.
