just a basic question about feeding small rays,,, roughly 5-6 inch disk,, right now i am feeding frozen blood worms and live black worms,, when should i try some red wrigglers/earth worms? should i start by chopping them up or feeding whole? then when to move onto some talapia ect. i know i could probably do all of the above now if i cut the pieces up small enough but should i wait until they are bigger for any specific food?

Chop them up and start immediately. black worms are some nasty little things and can get quite expensive. Typically I do chopped night crawlers starting at birth

black worms arent bad,, people just dont care for them properly to keep them healthy. i am only using the black worms temporarily so they get settled in. and yes they would be to expensive for the amount i would have to feed.. lol so i guess its onto chopped worms.. thanks

Night crawlers are the only way to go. Mine love them. I also feed mine carnivores pallets. What else you got in there. Let's see some pic.

2 marbles and 12 discus,,, still working on getting some drift wood, maybe another rock or 2 and have to work on the cosmetics of the outside.. i still havent cleaned up the silicone.. just enjoying the fish..

Nice tank and fish. I feed mine only tilapia. They eat shrimp as well but go nuts for tilapia. They're two month old motoros..5-6" already

Thanks,, i just did not want to feed them something too big but i guess as long as i cut them small enough they should be good to go
