  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I wouldn't, it's not fat free and mammalian fat is not good for them and it may cloud your water. :barf:

how come i see on youtube people feeding them their red tail with hotdogs? it has more fat doesnt it?

I don't belive chicken breast counts as mammalian...but either way, the preferred diet should be close to what a fish like that is designed to eat (sea foods etc)

Poultry is mammalian, all mammals are warm blooded, most are born alive, they have hair fur or feathers on their body, every mammal is a vertebrate, all mammals have lungs to breathe air, and most mammals feed milk to their young. And yes, they should only be eating sea foods and fish food. Beef heart can be grinded up with other fish foods to make a more varied diet.

My bad, you are correct. I was just checking to see if any one was paying attention lol. :chillpill:My point is that RTC are designed to eat fish, so feed them fish. They may get the occasional treat of a non fish item in the wild, but not as a primary source of food. :)

Large cats eat water fowl, frogs, large insects, worms and reptiles infact almost anything that is not a plant or fungi.
Juveniles eat mainly insects/insect larvae, molluscks and inverts.
