I have finally been able to get a batch of RH Tapajos fry out of my main tank. I have them setup in a 10 gallon tank with a sponge filter seeded with bacteria from the main tank. I have about 20-25 of them.

They are now about 2-2.5 weeks old. They seem to be picking around the tank all day. I've been feeding them baby brine shrimp frozen food. I dissolved a cube in a container of tank water and then pour a little in 2-3x a day.

I am also doing 20% water changes every night.

Do you guys have any tips for me? Would love to see these through to a more stable size.

seems like your doing it right I like to feed fry more than just bbs if I can so I have a coffee bean grinder to grind pellets and I use that also . I haven't used them but im sure gel foods like repashy can be great for fry stays good in the water longer and they can constanly graze on it when ever they want

Awesome. Thanks for the input. I was thinking variety as well. The grazing is what I really would like to see. It seems like the BBS make their way into the sponge filter pretty quickly.

So *knock wood* I've only lost two fry since moving them to their nursery tank. I've been feeding them 2-3x a day on baby brine shrimp, cracking off small pieces of algae wafers for them to graze, and some daphnia.

My question pertains to growth rates. They are still really small. Still under 1cm or 10mm. I saw some video of them online at 41 days and they looked much larger.

Do you typically see growth rates on these fish pic up exponentially beyond 2-3 weeks? Just want to make sure I'm doing everything correct. I do 25% nightly water changes.

Add powdered spirulina, I've also been wondering how good cricket flour could work.
