I've just recently picked up some beef heart and was wondering if anyone had tried feeding this to their Red tailed catfish or other predators?

I know it should be high in proteins and should be a good food source, i've heard of people feeding this type of food to fish, is this a good practice?

thanks for any input.

i have a two pound brackish turtle that i feed beef heart and kidney and liver to every other day. but just one piece of each as they are considered an inflammatory food. (any beef product is) its good for the iron in their blood.

oops cant edit yet(newbie) dont forget to only feed beef liver if it is from a grass fed cow as the liver is the filter of the body. (yuk) and your friend is what you feed him/her. also high in vits d and a!
