I picked up a trio of neolamprologus meeli for my 20L a couple days ago and they are settling in nicely. Currently, they are eating sinking cichlid crumbles but they don't really seem to go for them unless the food falls close to their chosen shells. Does anyone have advice for some different food choices that these guys may like?
I was also wondering if the occasional meal of live ghost shrimp would be acceptable. The fish are pretty small, but they seem to have some impressive mouths.
Does anyone here happen to keep this species? I'd be interested in seeing some pics. Is it easy to sex these fish? Based on behavior, I believe I have 2 males and a female.
