So, I've been lurking the threads and learning a lot lately.

I recently bought a G. Tile for my brackish tank, and was told by the guy at the LFS that I could feed it guppies or ghost shrimp. However, I've read a lot of posts on here saying you can also feed them mussels, shrimp, etc.

My question is, if I feed my eel raw shrimp, should it be shelled or not? Does it make a difference?

krill, frozen silversides, seafood, formula 1, and pretty much any meaty food. the eel really won't mind 1 way or the other. but i usually devein shrimp.

Right on. Thanks for the advice.

I didn't think the eel (by the way, his name is Darth Bane cuz I'm a Star Wars geek) would mind the shells, I just didn't know if it would be better to leave em on.

its not worth the risk, take the shell off the only downside with shrimp is if a small peice doesn't get eaten and falls behind a decoration or something and you don't see it, your water will stink up real fast
