Hi everyone after managing to get 2 silver dollars and 5 red hooks that are big enough to go in with my oscars just wondered what the best foods are to feed them? What’s the best pellets for them? ive never kept vegetarian fish before

I got the two silver dollars yesterday and chucked a couple of hikari algae wafers in and they had a nibble and it was all gone this morning!

Mine are garbage cans. They will eat what ever food I throw in there such that I have a hard time target feeding my large Pterygoplichthysjoselimaianus (L001) pleco. I do feed thawed frozen peas and romaine lettuce. I use the lid to hold the leaf in place and the feeding frenzy is like piranha defleshing a tasty morsal. Pellet size almost doesn't matter as they will take anything.
