i wanted to know if its healthy for SD to eat cucumber to give them different variety of food besides veggie flakes I have a small school of 8 2-4inches and is ok if my oscars eat it as well

Should be ok,I think.
But zucchini ,raisins,and deshelled peas would be better.
ok i had some cucumber left over ive fed them peas before but dont have any at the moment
Many Amazonian (and many other) fish have evolved to eat fallen fruit, seeds, and vegetation from overhanging trees, and end up being major seed dispersers.
A steady diet would be lacking, but occasionally is fine.

Very little nutritional value in a cucumber (mostly water). As others have said, squash or peas is a better alternative to veggie flakes.
