Feeding small/young flowerhorns question

Does the small/young flowerhorns have problems chewing the Sumo pellets? Seems like they chew it, spit it out, take it in again, spit it out, and continues. Sometimes gets tired of it and lets it float back to the top. I got some freeze dried bloodworms and I don't think he liked that either. What do you guys feed the younger flowerhorns?

Also, put a algae waffer in the tank for the pleco and seems like the flowerhorn is trying that diet.

I feed my small flowerhorn like sinking pellets 2 kinds ( soft and hard ) but sometimes if he gets tired of it he spit it out so feed him some floating pellets if it is too big for the flowerhorn cut one pellet into 2-3 pieces so he can chew the food and will not spit out..Feed him some Kataba( call in Philippines ) or Guppy 2 times a day or your Flowerhorn will be overfeed just put the guppy first into another container because it might have bacteria for it will br quarantine..
