Have been doing ok with this but any suggestions would be great. Have been having a bit of trouble when it comes to feeding, with a rd that is very food crazy and others, notably a chocolate that is not. The rd is not aggressive to anyone, he just will take all the food, holding tons in his mouth. I have been feeding slow now, and trying to really spread the food out...but does anyone have any tips? Have been really trying to not overfeed, but sometimes in order to feed everyone else the rd gets a ton of food. Others have stepped up a little just due to hunger, but obviously as the rd gets even bigger it is not going to get easier. Thanks

try spreeding it out like you were doing but do both floating and mixed.

On another note, how big is your rd? i am amazing it hasn't killed the chocolate. Mine is crazy he is only 4"

It is weird. The rd is a huge lover. He is around 5, chocolate is around 6. Chocolate is much more docile, but runs the show. I know everyone will say the rd will snap and kill the chocolate, but the rd has been with her since he was an inch, and wont leave her side. Maybe some day there will be problems, but they are happy in there 90 together. Ha for now.

ya thats pretty cool. mine is crazy. a 4" headbanger. but i would try mixing the pellets do sinking and floating. Its hard i know because i have 3 oscars, that go crazy for food, they jump out and slam their heads on the glass lid and splash water all over the place. piggies

Yeah, Ive never had a fish hit the surface as hard for food as the rd. Pig will just hold it all in his mouth, hide in a corner, spit up half of it then eat it all.
