so I just got an idea i'd like to share.

Some of you feed fish livefood, more specificly feederfish. And i saw (but didn't read) a thread about nutrion from live foods. And i'm assuming that live foods may not carry all the nutrition that fish needs.

so this is what i'm thinking. why not feed the feeders before you feed your monster? Its the same thing of hiding the dogs medicine in the dog food. you can feed your feeders brine shrimp, flake food, color enhancing food.

Then feed them to your monster.

and you probly will not feed them so much fish. why? because you are maximizing the space of the food. i.e. you feed your fish 6 skinny unfed fish, or 5 plump fat feeders that have things in their tummy.

in 5 days you have an extra serving.

what do you guys think?

Its called gut loading its kind of how your supposed to do it anyway-Anne

Also after feeding the feeders with vitamins/nutrious foods...don't wait too long to dump the feeders into the monster eaters. Otherwise they'll digest the food and poop it out.

It's the same as feeding superworms/meal worms. I usually feed the worms some hikari sticks, krill with boyd's vitachem and wait til they have eaten the food and then feed these worms to my aro's.

Silly aro's refuse to eat the hikari sticks so..i just feed it to the worms.:D

I always come up with ideas that are already the standard. I feel your pain. LOL
