There diet is basic standard benthic shark - in other words benthic invertebrates and small bony fish.

Much of their food you can likely find in the seafood dept of local grocery store - so basically marine fish (i.e. flounder, sole, cod,) and invertebrates like shrimp, pawns, crab, & clams. Naturally, the invertebrates need to withhout the shell.

And all seafood - needs to be either fresh, or frozen (not cooked).

Also it's helpful to have a good vitamin/mineral supplement - since you might not be able to fully replicate it's wild diet.

And it's very important to cut the food into bite size pieces for the shark.

Squid from the asian market works almost every time the first time.

1$ at your local fish/Asian market

so far , ive tried squid , scallop , oyster , and whiting . . . he shakes his head , and doesn't want it .. i know that sounds dumb ,, but im legit when i say this , he shakes his head , and doesn't want it .

well i had a bamboo for a year , he ate right away no problems , but this shark 2 full days now , hes about 15 inches.

Like said let him be on the eating thing. Not eating for a few days is not going to kill him. Like I said my coral didn't eat for a month and was fine. He has about the same size as yours
