where the corruption never ends
Well I have this CK who is 11" already in his 50gal growout tank and I've been planning to move him tomorrow to my 100 gal tank and wait for them to reach 20"+ before buying 300gals. He's been eating pellets since he was 5" though it is easy to feed him since he is in the 50gal.

Now my problem is, how am I supposed to feed him with pellets once he's in the 100 gal, since the pellets are small and it might be a mess once he doesn't eat all of them. I don't want to try them on guppies since I don't have a quarantine tank for them.

Suggestions would gladly be accepted :D.

id say make him a feeding spot.. then move the feedingspot when u move him ... like a reptile feeding tray (i use one made to look like bones) sink it in your sub/gravel. make sure nothing but food goes on it .. they will figure it out soon enough .

mine gather when there hungry.. i have caves so its easy to tell especially when really active during day ... hope it helps . cant wait till mine are ready to move tanks!

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Does he have any left overs during feeding? Just feed less.

my ck loves pellets too! earthworms are always a good food source, but not as cheap as pellets.
