Well, I went to our local auction today. And of course the fish were all mainly Africans :D This was good for me :) Well since I feed my fish Africans :) But Anyway.. A couple new to the diet sp. were given to me with everyone elses culls. Unknown as they were shipped as Archocentrus. But were obviously Amphilophus. But They were 3.5-4" and 2" tall.. Anyway my Male Mono made short work of both of them before anyone could even really see them...

I was video tapin the kids feeding them. I looked up away from the camera; just briefly, and noticed the most AWESOME thing to date in feeding :D The Males Belly FLUTTERED!!!!!!! I seen it clearly!! He had swallowed them so fast, they had not died and were large enough to be noticed!!! So I turned the camera on his belly and it must have been a final breath kinda deal :( It did not happen again. But anyway I just thought I'd share my AWESOME experience with you guys :)

Man This still makes me smile in AWE!!!!

I feed my fish Africans as feeders too. It's a rare occasion, but much better than goldfish.

what happens to a fish that isn't dead yet that is in another fish's belly anyways?

It dies from acid burn and brain melt i would suspect.

good story, yhou may not belive me but, this summer fishing one of my friends said he saw a Bullfrog with a sunfish hanging out of its mouth.. i didnt believe him until he jumped under the dock with a net and pulled out a big ass bullfrog with the head the size of a tennis ball... sure enough you could see the outline of 2 maybe even 3 sunfish inside his belly, u could even feel the spines a lil... the frog wouldnt even swim it would just hover with hsi eyes out of the water...

amazing, never thought id see a bullfrog with 2inch fish in its belly, although they werent moving like you saw.

Thats still pimpin! :)
