Feeding ur Big Id Shark?...

what do u guys feed ur big boys? i just got a nice sized and healthy Id shark ard 16-18inch approx... i tried offering it krill, shrimp pellets and algae discs... havent seen him ate so far... :(
 
mine use to feed on flakes too (but the belly always stay small and hungry)Then I start to feed it squid and octopus and one day I forgot to feed him and he ate my around 3-4" albino ID..

Now he's only like pieces of squid/octopus and nothing else..

He's at 5" going to 6 :D
 
I have 2 that are ~16-17". They eat any type of pellets but prefer sinking. They also love peas. They grow relatively fast and get huge so be ready.

most readily eat cichlid sticks and the like but most likely u'rs just needs to adapt to the new surroundings. give it a few days and it should be fine.
 
Mine ( 9-10") eat shrimp pellets and flake food. They are a jumpy fish,it might take a while. just keep trying normal stuff they'll eat. The baby (with help) put a little of her oatmeal in the other day. They loved it! And algae discs.
