Thanks, I feed them Hikari Sinking Cichlid Gold. I should have taken a video when they were fed sinking carnivore pellets, they go berzerk for it (literally)

Agree, I love my palmas palmas as its very yellow. Sadly the buettikoferi and palmas are the bichirs I see the least as they made their home in that driftwood and hides in there all the time. And now the retro joined them as well...

Mine are still small. Thats the thing about babies. They start out as angels and grow into devils
Doubt my bichirs will remain gentle for long.... already congicus showing signs of bullying (only chasing, no biting)

I agree, the black brings out their colour. Especially my lapradei, but I can't seem to take a decent shot at it.
