Feeding with saltwater fish.

Simple question: Any problem of feeding my Cichla with saltwater fish fillet?

I noticed they spitted it out when I tried.

Tens of thousands of people feed freshwater fish saltwater fish and nothing happens...

I thought it was ok. Just wondered if was something with the salt concentration in the saltwater fish that would hurt them.

I can get the Alaskan Pollock fillet for 5-7 Dollars/kg and the tilapia fillet costs 9 - 12 dollars/kg.
Its a nice save.
