how do i feed my jag wrigglers?? i know that the parents will feed them but the parents arent eating so... also i know that they eat there egg shell but now that they are wrigglers... how do i get them to eat..

so far what i have tryed is, i fed them but they didnt eat the pellts so i crushed the pelets that had been in the tank that were u eaten and they sank to the bottom about 6" away from where the wrigglers are. the jags didnt seem interested n the food even when i dropped it down there.

???

ok umm LFS should sell them right, is frozen brine shrimp ok?

I don't think you should have to feed them anything, they feed off the bottom.

wot, ive not heard that before?? i heard they eat there eggshell and then there parents chew up food and feed them.

Mines fed off the bottom and algae on the holy rock, they did fine...Until my Male Convict kicked the female to the curb...Then he had to do the job alone, unfortunately he was not big enough to defend against my Texas and Firemouths...Soon after he got rid of the female, the wigglers got eaten.

ok thanks man.

Dont feed tell free swimming they have yoke sacks as wiglers after they are free swimming then feed baby brine live or frozen once they get a little bigger mix in flakes crushed and other frozen foods such as blood worms, mysis shrimp, mashed cichlid delight fish should grow like weeds for you ! good luck
