Feeding yellowtail barracudas

How often do you guys feed your yellowtails? I got mine about 3 months ago and usually feed it minnows at least once every other day. It's about 3" almost 4" and hasn't seemed to have gotten bigger. Also is there a way to get it to eat non live foods? Dangling food on string and putting it in the water flow isn't working. Thanks in advance

I fed mine 2 or 3 times a week w/ pretreated guppies and live grass shrimp, but I never cold get it to take frozen brine or freeze dried krill like my vampire/scomb. Unfortunately it began attacking my festae's fry when they became free swimming. I immediately sucked out the babies, but the parents killed it the next day.

i got mine eating silversides, but they dont grow all that fast in my experience, i got the at about 3 inches and maxed out at 8, then were eaten by my Nile Perch
