Feeding you fish form around the world

Hi everybody I was just wondering how many of you have had the problem of not being able to feed your fish when you go on vacation? Wouldn't it be convienient to be able to just put a device on you tank that isn't just a timer that feeds your fish but a Network controlled feeding device, that also includs a web came to feed your fish it would be like a vurtual control center to take care of you fish this is still just an idea but i have the means and the way to build it just let me know what you think good, bad, and how much you would pay thanks and go easy I am new to the forum but an experienced in the fish world thanks again

no i have never had a problem with that i just take my fish with me have u ever seen what about bob? i do just like bill murry and put my fish in a jar tie it around my neck and off we go

Never had a problem...Either used my custom made fish feeders or Some trustworthy soul staying here to feed them

There are several on the market now and webcams aren't a biggy anymore.

What price range were you thinking.

lol. there are already automated fish feeders so ive never had a problem

most healthy fish can go a week without food. if I left for more than a week, maybe i'd consider it.

Yea, I went away for a week. Everyone was fine. Stupid puffer tried to eat the catfish.

I went a way for two days once and I used one of those stupid wast of money feeder blocks (I'll never use one again) and when I got back I found my darters tail hanging out of my sunfishes mouth. Now I use automatic feeders and they work fine.

maybe something that interacted with a software programme on the computer and having the web cam point at the tanks would be cool..
but in reality most fish keepers dont leave for more then a few days t a time unless they have someone they can trust to feed their aquatic budddies...
