i have a few 2 month old 2-3" FHs, should i feed them regularly 3x a day or does anyone intentionally starve them a day or two at this size? or are there other feeding options?

I have read that you can have them fast one day a week on the same day ea. week. Actually, in the wild, fish have to put up with times when they can't find food, right?
at that size i would continue feeding 3 times daily. smaller amounts the first 2 times and a big dinner with bloodworms included.
