ok so i have been feeding my juvie doviis worms that i have been shocking from the ground in my back yard was wanting to know if you alll think this is ok or if i am setting myself up for disaster?

i feed my dovii worms from my yard all the time. as well as crickets, moths, roaches. my male even nailed a small lizard. =) there main diet is pellets and blood worms though.
i also feed mine pellets of assorted kinds and the unfortunate insect that make it in my home just worried about parasites would hate to lose him to some dumb thing i did you know
I would be wary of feeding it insects you find around your home. Chances are they have been exposed to chemicals/pesticides. These are potentially harmful for your fish.
yeh hadnt thought of that but you think the worms would be ok then because dont really want to go back to buying worms from wal mart did that for years on last grow out a large jag that i recently sold to friend wish i hadnt really like that fish lol
No idea, i get the worms for my tigrinus cat @ walmart. 30 count for $2.97. worth it imo
well i just go out and shock them for free they jump out at me lmao but my bigg worry is parasite so may go back to buying them
